Peguam Wan Azmir Wan Majid yang mewakili Utusan Melayu memohon mahkamah memberi kebenaran untuk merayu dan mencadangkan empat persoalan undang-undang untuk ditentukan Mahkamah Persekutuan berkaitan isu sama ada sabitan terhadap Anwar dalam kes Sodomi II boleh digunakan untuk mengurangkan kuantum ganti rugi dalam saman fitnah itu.
