PUTRAJAYA 29 Jun - Pasukan Petugas Khas (Task Force) 1MDB mengesahkan telah membekukan sejumlah akaun milik individu dan beberapa organisasi termasuk UMNO. Pasukan tersebut dalam satu kenyataan berkata, turut dibekukan ialah akaun parti-parti politik lain yang dipercayai terlibat dengan penyelewengan dana 1MDB serta akaun milik persatuan dan syarikat yang juga terlibat dalam siasatan kes tersebut.

Naib Presiden yang menjalankan tugas-tugas Presiden UMNO, Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi mengumumkan perkara tersebut ketika berucap dalam Majlis Sambutan Hari Raya Aidilfitri UMNO Johor di sini hari ini.

Beliau berkata, tindakan yang diambil oleh SPRM itu juga adalah dibawah bidang kuasa agensi berkenaan.
